Step 1:
Each group member will help research different aspects of the country's culture, and will then put the information they find on the Popplet organizer. Click here to learn how to make a Popplet account.
The information that you include in your Popplet will be: holidays celebrated, how to greet someone, how to dress, some different phrases in your country's language and in English, the different food types, and finally some facts and statistics about your country.
When you are finished with your Popplet organizer, get a teacher check before you move on to step 2.

Step 2:
Now that you have researched all about a country and their culture, you will make a Power Point or Keynote presentation. You will include everything that you have in your Popplet, so if you did a good job on that, this should be easy!
Step 3:
Here is the FUN part! Now your group will get to make arrangements to meet at one person's house. You will cook a cultural food, and bring it to class on Friday April 27, 2012 for our Culture Day. On this day, each group will present their presentations. You will also get the opportunity to dress up how people in your country would dress. During the group presentations, you will be taking notes about each groups country. This is sure to be a fun filled day full of learning about different cultures and yummy food!
Here is the notes sheet you will use during the group presentations.
